DESCRIPTION:Program: \nDesigning a Flower Bed with Seasonal Interest – Have you ever seen a garden that just took your breath away? You visit again\, two months later\, and the garden is again in full glory. How do people do this? How do design a garden that offers visual interest through the seasons? This lesson will walk you through the design process step-by-step\, You will learn how to plan a garden that will offer you visual interest spring through fall with a few winter accents as well. \nDinner: Farm Chicken OR Fried Shrimp served with baked potato\, bean salad\, cole slaw\, cottage cheese\, pickled beets\, corn fritters\, and ice cream for dessert with coffee. \nPlease make your dinner reservations by Tuesday\, May 18\, 2021 by calling the Club’s voice mail at (312) 409-2081 (opt 1) or Email ccebulski@comcast.net \nThe dinner cost is $24.00 per person which includes tax\, tip\, and room fee. SUMMARY:MPKS Auction
DESCRIPTION:Midwest Pond & Koi Auction this Spring.  \n  \nWith the weather starting to warm up\, we look forward to the MPKS Tosai Auction. The club holds this event to allow MPKS members to purchase a high quality koi fish at a better price. \nThe auction has about 40-50 fish and the starting price averages $20. This year the tosai koi will be supplied by Myron and Ellen Kloubec of Kloubec Koi Farm in Amana Iowa. There will be a nice selection of koi fish including long fin koi. \nThis event is for current MPKS members. If your membership is not current\, you may renew or join at the check in table on Saturday May 22nd . \nThis year the Auction will be held at John and Pat Hall’s  home in Plainfield IL. \nThe viewing of fish starts at Noon on Saturday May 22nd   and the auction kicks off at 1:00 PM. Parking is allowed on Bartlett. \nThe Tosai auction is a great way to get quality tosai at very reasonable prices. Please join us for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon of koi talk and fun!
