DESCRIPTION:Myron and Ellen Kloubec have extended an invitation to MPKS to visit their facility on Saturday August 7th. \nYou must RSVP in order to attend. \nThe agenda for the trip follows: \nSaturday: \nArrive at Koi Farm at Noon. \nThe dinner plans for Saturday evening is a dinner at the Kloubec farm at 7:00 PM. The dinner cost is $25 per person and will be collected when you arrive at the farm. Please BYOB and bring a bag chair for the evening. \nSunday: \nA 9:00 AM brunch at the Cedar Ridge Winery\, 1441 Marak Rd NW\, Swisher IA\, for $17.99 paid directly to the Winery that morning. \nAny koi purchases may be picked up following the brunch. \nThe driving trip is about 3 to 3-1/2 hours from the Naperville/Lisle area. The Amana Colonies are close by for shops and restaurants. \nFor those who want to spend the night\, there is a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn & Suites at Cedar Rapids Airport. The hotel information is 710 America Drive\, SW\, Cedar Rapids\, IA 52404\, 319-632-2000. The block will be held until July 23rd under MPKS and the rate is $89 plus tax. Rooms are King bed or 2 Queen beds. \nPlease make your own hotel reservations.  Click on “Reserve Your Room Now” which shows the link to the hotel. \nIf reserving for one night only\, when the dates appear\, click on August 6th and change to August 7th. The Rotary Garden is located in Janesville\, WI.  The address is 1455 Palmer Dr\, Janesville WI. \nThe drive is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Naperville area. \nThe garden has a koi pond\, a beautiful Japanese garden and 24 additional themed gardens.  \nThe cost is $15.00 per person for admission and tour guides. \nPlease rsvp to Charlene if you plan on attending with the number of attendees. \n

SUMMARY:MPKS Club Picnic August 29th
DESCRIPTION:The club picnic is planned for Sunday\, August 29th at Andrew Toman Grove\, W. 27th & Des Plaines Avenue\, North Riverside.  The picnic site entrance is on Des Plaines and the park is open from dawn to dusk with a pavilion and picnic tables.  The park is great for games or just relaxing with friends.  Feel free to bring yard games. \nCoolers are welcome! This year we are grilling assorted sausages and we ask for side dishes\, desserts\, or any other nibble you may wish to bring. Lunch will be served at 1:00 PM. \nPlease RSVP  by August 24th\, if you plan to attend. \nWe hope to see you there!
