DESCRIPTION:August 20th   Road Trip to Mitchell Park Domes in Milwaukee WI \n MPKS will have a guided tour of the Mitchell Park Domes on Saturday August 20th . This is the August MPKS meeting. \nThe tour will start at 10:45 AM. The Mitchell Park Domes is located at 524 S Layton Blvd\, Milwaukee WI. The drive is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Naperville area. \nThe garden has 3 domes – floral\, tropical\, and desert with water features. The cost is $10.00 per person for admission and tour guide. \n  \nAfter the tour\, you may join us for a 1:00 PM lunch at Miss Katie’s Diner located at 1900 W Clybourn St\, Milwaukee WI. The diner is 1.5 miles from the Domes. \nThe lunch menu is House salad\, Choice of a sandwich – Grilled Chicken\, Burger or Cheeseburger\, Mediterranean Chicken\, or Tuna melt on whole wheat. A choice of a side – French fries\, Coleslaw\, or Vegetable. \nA dessert and soda are included . The cost of $18.00 includes lunch\, tax\, and tip. \n  \nPlease RSVP to Charlene by August 14th if you plan on attending the tour OR the tour and lunch.

SUMMARY:MPKS August 28th Club Picnic 2022
DESCRIPTION:The club picnic is planned for Noon on Sunday\, August 28th at Andrew Toman Grove\, W. 27th & Des Plaines Avenue\, North Riverside.  The picnic site entrance is on Des Plaines and the park is open from dawn to dusk with a pavilion and picnic tables.  The park is great for games or just relaxing with friends.  Feel free to bring yard games. Also your own lawn chairs. \nCoolers are welcome! This year we are grilling brats and hot dogs and we ask for a side dish\, dessert\, or any other nibble you may wish to bring. Lunch will be served at 1:30 PM. \nPlease RSVP  by August 22nd\, if you plan to attend. \nWe hope to see you there!
