DESCRIPTION:The MPKS August club meeting will be a local outing on  August 12th. \nMPKS will have a 2 hour guided tour of the Lincoln Park Conservatory and Lily Pool. \nThe tour will start at 10:00 AM and the cost is $5.00 per person. \nProgram:  One hour guided tour of the Lily Pool and one hour guided tour of the Lincoln Park Conservatory. \nLocation:  Lincoln Park Conservatory\, 2391 N Stockton Drive\, Chicago IL \nPublic parking is available for $30 a day in the lot directly behind the Conservatory at 2391 N Stockton Dr. The lot entrance is on Stockton Dr just south of Fullerton Pkwy. Street parking may also be available on Stockton or Cannon Drives between Diversey and Fullerton Parkways. \n

DESCRIPTION:August 27th  MPKS Annual Picnic  \nThe club picnic is planned for Sunday\, August 27th at Andrew Toman Grove\, W. 27th & Des Plaines Avenue\, North Riverside. The picnic site entrance is on Des Plaines and the park is open from dawn to dusk with a pavilion and picnic tables. The park is great for games or just relaxing with friends. Feel free to bring yard games. Also\, your own lawn chairs. Coolers are welcome! \nThis year we are grilling brats and hot dogs and we ask for a side dish\, dessert\, or any other nibble you may wish to bring. Lunch will be served at 1:30 PM. Please RSVP by August 22nd\, if you plan to attend. We hope to see you there!
