Program: Blanding’s Turtle: What We’re Doing to Help an Illinois Endangered Species
Discover the Forest Preserve District’s work to help the state-endangered Blanding’s turtle. Hear about how the restoration of habitat supports this species and learn about our partnership with other agencies to help this turtle recover in the greater Chicago area. Then, find out about how you can help the Blanding’s turtle, too!
Location: Franconi’s / Fat Rickys 646 N Independence Blvd, Romeoville IL
Dinner: Salad, Italian Roasted Chicken, Penne with Meatballs, Fresh Vegetable Medley, Desserts, Soft Drinks, and Coffee.
Please make dinner reservations by Tuesday, October 18, 2022 by calling the Club’s voice mail at (312) 409-2081 (opt 1) . All dinner reservations will be confirmed.
The dinner cost is $28.00 per person which includes tax, tip, and room fee. Dinner starts at 7:00PM. Meeting starts at 8:00PM.
Attendees not having dinner will be charged a $5 fee to contribute towards the room fee.

Directions: The restaurant is located on the west side of Rt 53.
